A little bit about me.....
I've been working in the fitness industry for around 12 years. I left my career as a Science teacher and started out as a group exercise (ZUMBA) instructor in 2013 progressing to complete my Personal Trainer qualification in 2015.

​I believe in creating a friendly, supportive, environment that means anyone can access exercise that they enjoy and are able to maintain for life. There might be a sore muscle or two along the way but getting confidently stronger should definitely be enjoyed and not dreaded.

I keep fit because I like being active and feeling fit. I haven't always been this way though. I've struggled with many of the things I now help others with: fitting exercise in around life, illness, injury, issues with food, weight and body image, and the list goes on! There is nothing like a bit of life experience to help you apply what you know.

My story is one of getting Confidently Stronger. Now I help others with theirs.
I like Bumblebees and blue skies (whether from hot sunny days or cold frosty ones). I prefer warm fires to cold swims and I love snuggling down under a blanket with a good book!
​I love a challenge and can get really engrossed in something I'm doing but also I get 'cabin fever' and love to head outside and be in nature - digging the garden, going for a walk or sometimes a run.
​Travel is a particular passion of mine. I enjoy the occasional chill out by a pool or on the beach but I'm more of an active traveller. Holidays will usually find my husband and I trekking up a mountain or in the rainforest of some of the not so typical holiday destinations - favourites include Ethiopia, Madagascar, Chile and Vietnam.
